Study Planner — Moodle: Privacy Policy

In short
Study Planner is a browser extension that reads course information from the Moodle page you have open, when you ask it to. It has no server and doesn't send data over the network by itself. Course information leaves your browser only if you copy, download or paste it somewhere. The publisher receives something only if you choose to send a problem report.
What the extension reads
It reads a page only after you click Scan or explicitly start an automated run, and only on the Moodle page or pages involved. From those pages it takes:
- the page's address, without its query, and the time of the scan;
- on a course page: the course title, id, link and format; section numbers and titles, and whether each is collapsed or loaded; and activity names, ids, types, links and displayed dates;
- on My courses or the Dashboard: course names, ids, links and visible categories;
- the titles of entries it rejected, and why, so you can see what was left out.
It isn't designed to take activity descriptions, section summaries, grades, submissions, completion or restriction information, passwords or session tokens. It also counts what it sees on the page, to warn you when something may be missing. Titles are written by people, so a title could itself contain personal information, and the extension can't rule that out.
In an automated run, the extension opens the main page of each course you selected, in your own tab. Moodle may log those visits as if you had opened the pages yourself.
What it keeps, and where

The extension doesn't use Chrome sync and doesn't run in incognito windows.
What can leave your browser
Only through something you do:
- Copy or Download. You get your selected data, including course names and links. A downloaded file stays on your device until you delete it, and anything you paste or upload is handled under the terms of wherever you put it, such as an AI service.
- AI website links. These are ordinary links and carry no course data. Opening one is a normal visit to that website.
- Problem reports. See below.
Problem reports
You see the whole report before you do anything with it. It contains a random report id, the app and check versions, your browser's major version, the interface language, the category you chose, the logged codes described above, and your own description if you wrote one. It contains no course names, links or page content, unless you type them into your description, so please don't.
You can copy or download the report, or open an email draft addressed to studyplanner.support@gmail.com. The extension doesn't send it: nothing is sent unless you send it yourself from your own email account. A long report isn't placed in the draft, and you paste it in yourself.
If you email a report, the recipient receives your email address, your display name if your account has one, the message and its usual email details. Your email provider and Google, which runs the Gmail mailbox, process the message under their own terms.
- Who reads reports and why: Reports are reviewed by the project's operator solely to investigate and fix reported problems.
- How long they're kept: Received reports are kept for up to 90 days after receipt, then deleted from the support mailbox, Trash, and any retained copies.
- Asking for deletion: To request deletion, email studyplanner.support@gmail.com from the address used to send the report. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirement.
What the extension doesn't do
It has no usage analytics, tracking, advertising or background transmission, and it runs no remote code. It doesn't send your data to the publisher or to anyone else by itself.
The operator does not sell received reports or share them with third parties other than the email service provider or where required by law.
Your choices
- Clear results or a collection in the extension at any time. It's gone from the extension at once. If the browser fails to remove part of it, that part stays unused in session memory until the browser closes.
- Clear the log on the Report a problem page.
- Removing the extension removes the data it stores in the browser. It can't remove files you downloaded, text you pasted elsewhere or emails you sent.

The use of information received by this extension will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Study Planner הוא תוסף דפדפן שקורא מידע על קורסים מדף ה-Moodle הפתוח אצלכם, כשאתם מבקשים זאת. אין לו שרת, והוא לא שולח מידע ברשת מעצמו. מידע על קורסים יוצא מהדפדפן רק אם אתם מעתיקים, מורידים או מדביקים אותו במקום אחר. המפרסם מקבל מידע רק אם תבחרו לשלוח דיווח על בעיה.
מה התוסף קורא
התוסף קורא דף רק אחרי שלחצתם על סריקה או התחלתם במפורש ריצה אוטומטית, ורק בדפי ה-Moodle הנוגעים לכך. מהדפים האלה הוא לוקח:
- את כתובת הדף, ללא הפרמטרים שלה, ואת זמן הסריקה;
- בדף קורס: את שם הקורס, המזהה, הקישור והפורמט שלו; מספרי יחידות וכותרותיהן, והאם כל יחידה מכווצת או נטענה; ושמות, מזהים, סוגים, קישורים ותאריכים מוצגים של פעילויות;
- בדף הקורסים שלי או בלוח הבקרה: שמות קורסים, מזהים, קישורים וקטגוריות גלויות;
- את כותרות הרשומות שנדחו ואת הסיבה לכך, כדי שתוכלו לראות מה לא נכלל.
התוסף לא נועד לקחת תיאורי פעילויות, תקצירי יחידות, ציונים, הגשות, מידע על השלמה או הגבלות, סיסמאות או אסימוני התחברות. הוא גם סופר את מה שהוא רואה בדף, כדי להזהיר אתכם כשייתכן שמשהו חסר. כותרות נכתבות בידי אנשים, ולכן כותרת עלולה להכיל מידע אישי, והתוסף לא יכול לשלול זאת.
בריצה אוטומטית התוסף פותח, בכרטיסייה שלכם, את הדף הראשי של כל קורס שבחרתם. ייתכן ש-Moodle ירשום את הביקורים האלה כאילו פתחתם את הדפים בעצמכם.

התוסף אינו משתמש בסנכרון של Chrome ואינו פועל בחלונות גלישה בסתר.
מה יכול לצאת מהדפדפן
רק באמצעות פעולה שלכם:
- העתקה או הורדה. אתם מקבלים את המידע שבחרתם, כולל שמות קורסים וקישורים. קובץ שהורד נשאר במכשיר עד שתמחקו אותו, ומה שתדביקו או תעלו כפוף לתנאים של המקום שאליו העברתם אותו, למשל שירות בינה מלאכותית.
- קישורים לאתרי בינה מלאכותית. אלה קישורים רגילים שאינם נושאים מידע על קורסים. פתיחת קישור היא ביקור רגיל באתר.
- דיווחים על בעיות. ראו בהמשך.
דיווחים על בעיות
אתם רואים את הדיווח כולו לפני שאתם עושים בו משהו. הוא כולל מזהה דיווח אקראי, את גרסאות התוסף והבדיקות, את הגרסה הראשית של הדפדפן, את שפת הממשק, את הקטגוריה שבחרתם, את הקודים ביומן שתואר למעלה, ואת התיאור שלכם אם כתבתם. אין בו שמות קורסים, קישורים או תוכן מהדף, אלא אם תקלידו אותם בתיאור, ולכן נא לא לעשות זאת.
אפשר להעתיק או להוריד את הדיווח, או לפתוח טיוטת דוא״ל אל studyplanner.support@gmail.com. התוסף לא שולח אותו: שום דבר לא נשלח אלא אם תשלחו בעצמכם מחשבון הדוא״ל שלכם. דיווח ארוך לא נכנס לטיוטה, ותצטרכו להדביק אותו בעצמכם.
אם תשלחו דיווח בדוא״ל, הנמען יקבל את כתובת הדוא״ל שלכם, את השם המוצג אם יש כזה בחשבון, את ההודעה ואת פרטי הדוא״ל הרגילים. ספק הדוא״ל שלכם ו-Google, שמפעילה את תיבת Gmail, מעבדים את ההודעה לפי התנאים שלהם.
- מי קורא דיווחים ולשם מה: מפעיל הפרויקט בלבד קורא את הדיווחים, ורק לצורך בירור תקלות ותיקונן.
- כמה זמן הם נשמרים: דיווחים שהתקבלו נשמרים עד 90 יום ממועד קבלתם, ולאחר מכן נמחקים מתיבת התמיכה, מהאשפה ומכל עותק שנשמר.
- בקשת מחיקה: אפשר לבקש מחיקה בכתובת studyplanner.support@gmail.com, מתוך כתובת הדוא״ל שממנה נשלח הדיווח. נטפל בבקשה בתוך 30 יום, בכפוף לחובת שמירה על פי דין.
מה התוסף לא עושה
אין בו ניתוח נתוני שימוש, מעקב, פרסום או שידור ברקע, והוא לא מריץ קוד מרוחק. הוא לא שולח מעצמו את המידע שלכם למפרסם או לאף גורם אחר.
מפעיל הפרויקט אינו מוכר דיווחים שקיבל ואינו משתף אותם עם צדדים שלישיים, למעט ספק שירות הדוא״ל או כאשר החוק מחייב זאת.
הבחירות שלכם
- אפשר למחוק תוצאות או אוסף בתוסף בכל עת. הם נעלמים מהתוסף מיד. אם הדפדפן לא מצליח להסיר חלק מהם, אותו חלק נשאר ללא שימוש בזיכרון ההפעלה עד לסגירת הדפדפן.
- אפשר למחוק את היומן בדף דיווח על בעיה.
- הסרת התוסף מסירה את המידע שהוא שומר בדפדפן. היא לא יכולה להסיר קבצים שהורדתם, טקסט שהדבקתם במקום אחר או הודעות דוא״ל ששלחתם.
Limited Use של חנות האינטרנט של Chrome
השימוש במידע שהתוסף מקבל יהיה בהתאם למדיניות נתוני המשתמש של חנות האינטרנט של Chrome, לרבות דרישות Limited Use.
